Sivio vs Yescool: Key Specs Compared
Target Audience
Sivio is designed for children and small users, with a safety reminder specifying use for ages over four and at least thirty pounds. Its five-pound weight aligns with the recommendation of eight to ten percent of body weight for lighter users. Yescool targets adults, recommending a weight equal to ten percent of body weight. The fifteen-pound model is intended for individuals weighing around one hundred fifty pounds. This distinction makes Sivio suitable for kids' laps or travel, while Yescool is built for full-body coverage on a twin bed for grown users.
Fill Material
Sivio uses tiny ceramic beads as its fill material. These are securely stitched in place with multiple layers to prevent shifting or leakage, ensuring consistent weight distribution. Yescool uses glass beads as its fill. The brand highlights high-density stitching with fifteen thousand stitches in five-by-five-inch compartments to keep the beads from moving. Both materials are contained securely to avoid leakage. However, the choice between ceramic and glass beads depends on your preference for the specific feel and weight density provided by each material type within the blanket's construction.
Size and Weight
Sivio offers a compact three-foot by four-foot size weighing five pounds. This small footprint makes it ideal for lap use or smaller beds. Yescool provides a twin-size blanket measuring four-foot by six-foot weighing fifteen pounds. This larger dimension is designed to cover an adult body fully on a standard twin mattress without overhanging excessively. The significant difference in dimensions and weight means Sivio is a portable comfort item, while Yescool is a primary bed covering for adults. You must choose based on whether you need a lap pad or a full bedspread.
Pattern and Design
Sivio features whimsical animal prints and vibrant colors, such as purple pony, blue dinosaur, and pink strawberry. These designs aim to spark curiosity and make bedtime more engaging for children. The blanket also serves as a decorative piece that brightens a room. Yescool focuses on solid, neutral colors like grey, pink, blue, and teal. These options are described as decent gift ideas for general use without specific thematic elements. If you prefer playful, character-driven aesthetics for a child’s room, Sivio is the clear choice. For a minimalist look that blends with any decor, Yescool fits better.
Material Feel
Sivio is crafted with skin-friendly microfiber on both sides. This material is described as soft, breathable, and cool in summer while remaining warm in winter. It is OEKO-TEX certified, indicating a focus on safety and comfort against the skin. Yescool does not explicitly state the outer fabric material in the provided data, though it emphasizes the durability of the stitching and the machine-washable nature of the blanket. The known microfiber construction of Sivio offers a specific tactile experience that is gentle and temperature-regulating, which may be preferable for sensitive users compared to unspecified fabrics.
Compatibility
Sivio includes eight loops on the corners and sides, making it easy to use with any standard duvet cover. This feature allows for year-round use by changing the outer cover seasonally. Yescool does not mention compatibility with duvet covers in the provided specifications. It is designed to be used directly on top of the mattress. The loop system on Sivio adds versatility, allowing you to customize the look and feel by swapping covers. This makes Sivio more adaptable for different seasons or aesthetic preferences without needing to wash the weighted interior frequently.
