Fleece is a synthetic fabric known for being plush and velvety soft. It traps body heat effectively, providing warmth without the heaviness of weighted bedding. This makes it ideal for layering on sofas or chairs during cooler evenings. Unlike weighted blankets, which use glass beads or plastic pellets for deep pressure, fleece relies on loft and texture for comfort. You should choose this material if you prefer a lightweight, cozy feel for casual lounging rather than therapeutic weight.
