Bedsure vs Yescool Weight Specs
Weight
The Yescool blanket is a true weighted product, coming in at 15 pounds for the Twin size. This weight is designed to provide deep pressure stimulation, which many users find helpful for relaxation and sleep. In contrast, the Bedsure Cloud Bubble King Throw is a lightweight blanket. The data does not list a specific weight for the Bedsure option, but it is described as light enough for year-round use without feeling heavy. You are comparing a therapeutic 15-pound load against a standard, unweighted throw. If you need physical pressure for comfort, the Yescool option is the clear choice. The Bedsure blanket is meant for light warmth and decor rather than weighted therapy.
Dimensions
Size coverage differs significantly between these two items. The Yescool blanket is a Twin size, measuring 48 inches by 72 inches. This is a standard single-bed footprint. The Bedsure Cloud Bubble King Throw is much larger, measuring 108 inches by 90 inches. This King size offers extensive coverage, suitable for draping over a couch, covering a large bed, or sharing with a partner. You get nearly double the surface area with the Bedsure option. The Yescool size is compact and designed for individual use on a twin mattress. The Bedsure dimensions allow for versatile styling as room decor or a generous throw. Your choice depends on whether you need a small, targeted weight or a large, decorative layer.
Fill Material
The internal composition of these blankets serves different purposes. The Yescool blanket uses glass beads as its fill material. These beads are distributed throughout the compartments to provide consistent, heavy pressure across the body. This is a standard material for weighted blankets. The Bedsure Cloud Bubble King Throw does not list a specific fill material in the provided data. It is described as a textured fabric with a CloudBubble texture, prioritizing softness and visual interest over bulk or weight. It is not filled with beads or heavy granules. You are comparing a bead-filled therapeutic item against a hollow, textured textile. The Yescool material provides the physical sensation of weight, while the Bedsure material provides tactile softness.
Target Audience
Both products are marketed toward adults, but their intended use cases vary. The Yescool blanket explicitly targets adults, with recommendations based on body weight percentages for therapeutic benefit. It is designed for individuals seeking sleep aid or anxiety reduction through deep pressure. The Bedsure Cloud Bubble King Throw is also suitable for adults but is framed as a versatile decor piece. It is described as ideal for couch lounging, reading, or movie nights, and makes a thoughtful gift for various occasions. While both serve adults, the Yescool option is specialized for sleep and therapy. The Bedsure option is broader, serving as a stylish accessory for everyday living spaces and general comfort rather than specific therapeutic outcomes.
Build Quality
Construction methods highlight the different goals of each blanket. The Yescool blanket features tight stitching with 15,000 stitches to create small 5x5 inch compartments. This high-density stitching is designed to keep glass beads in place and prevent leakage, ensuring durability during machine washing. The data emphasizes this robust construction for long-term use. The Bedsure Cloud Bubble King Throw focuses on its textured fabric and soft handfeel. The data does not specify stitch count or internal compartmentalization, as it lacks weighted fill. It is built for visual texture and gentle drape. If you prioritize engineered durability for washing and bead retention, the Yescool build is superior. The Bedsure build is focused on aesthetic texture and softness.
